See the city from another angle
From the canals, details that seem secondary on land become more noticeable: waterside entrances, reflections and bends between buildings. Venezia Santa Lucia is the railway station inside the island city; Venezia Mestre is on the mainland. From Santa Lucia, continue towards San Marco using the ACTV waterbus network or walk, allowing for bridges, crowds and possible route changes. Check the stop and service actually operating before setting out. Do not rely only on the name of the square: your voucher specifies the exact place where staff welcome participants. The public listing gives the TU.RI.VE meeting point in Calle larga de l’Ascension, in the San Marco area. Reach the welcome location on your voucher before looking for the gondola; meeting and boarding points may be different.
From the airport
Venezia Marco Polo
From Marco Polo Airport, you can travel by land to Piazzale Roma or consider a water service depending on the meeting address. The airport’s official website lists the current options. From Piazzale Roma you must continue on foot or by waterbus; buses do not reach Piazza San Marco. Allow for the walk from the terminal to the stop or pier, and check separately which tickets are needed for each part of your journey.
Always check the meeting point on your voucher: it may vary by the option booked. Check timetables and connections again before travelling.

- For mobility needs, request specific boarding information; a central location does not describe the gondola’s accessibility.
